MichiganCrossCountry.com Founders to Speak at MITCA Track Clinic:
Dan and Don are presenting two times at the February MITCA Clinic on the use of athletic.net in your track program. At a second session they will talk specifically about using athletic.net in the management of a track meet. Get information about the MITCA Clinic right here.
Please take note that http://athletic.net will be the official method for entry into 2010 CROSS COUNTRY Regional Meets, so no time like the present to learn a little more about it.

2009 Cross Country - Schedules and Information
We have prepared a couple of resources for you.
First, we have links to the highschoolsports.net schedules for every school in Michigan. The vast majority of schools now use this scheduling tool, so it’s a great way to see where and when team will be appearing. More than half of the schools already have their schedules included. These links include colleges, high schools and middle schools who are using this system to schedule meets.
Second, we are working hard to assemble a comprehensive list of Michigan high school cross country invitationals for 2009. We are well on our way, but still need help filling in the details of missing meets. So if you are looking for a meet this fall, check out the full schedule to find a meet. If you are hosting a meet, please be sure we have included it and then after the meet be sure to send us your results.

General Idea
MichiganCrossCountry.com and MichiganTrackAndField.com are the brainchild of Dan Wytko and Don Passenger. Created in November of 2007, we aim to bring you accurate rankings of Michigan High School Cross Country and Michigan Track and Field.
Transparent Rankings
We seek to create rankings that are fully transparent. By transparent we mean that you will be able to understand exactly how we calculate our rankings and who is on our ranking panel. You will not know how each ranker voted individually. Past methods used by others have given points for invitationals and weighted certain invitationals, but we have never been able to understand exactly the full ranking methodology. We hope to explain ours fully so that the process is transparent and thus may be critiqued over time.
Sponsors Needed
We are actively seeking a few sponsors who for the few hundred dollars they may invest will receive exposure on our website. Do you have a business that can sponsor us? If so please contact us via email at Don at MichiganCrossCountry.com or Dan at MichiganCrossCountry.com.
