Women 9th, Men 11th At GLIAC Championships

Big Rapids, Mich. – The Ferris State University men’s and women’s indoor track and field teams wrapped up action in the 2012 Great Lakes Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (GLIAC) Championships on Saturday (Feb. 25) in Findlay, Ohio.

The Bulldog women came in ninth overall of 11 teams with 32 points in the team race while the men’s squad placed 11th in the field.

The two-day league championships were hosted by the University of Findlay and held at the Malcom Athletic Center on campus.

Bulldog junior Zoey Hohmann won the 400 meters (57.23) while reaching the national provisional qualification mark and took sixth place in the 200 meters (25.80).
