PREP GIRLS CROSS COUNTRY: Sharks win in Carson City – The Morning Sun Sports > Preps: Serving Clare, Gratiot and Isabella counties
The St. Louis High School girls cross country team placed first Wednesday at the Carson City-Crystal Open as it claimed the title with 52 points. Ithaca took second (83), while Pewamo-Westphalia was third (86), Alma fourth (103), and Carson City-Crystal sixth (110).

St. Louis’ Raquel Serna won the race as she recorded a time of 19:55, while CallyAnne Wyma was third in a time of 21:28. Laura Kelly took fifth (22:23), Alexis Rowlett was 22nd (24:15), and Catherine Little finished 23rd (24:19).

Misty Godley paced Ithaca in a seventh place time of 22:48, while Kayley Sopel was ninth in 23:16. Kara Giles was 18th (24:00), Brittany Bentley placed 24th (24:31), and Kali Densmore came in 28th (24:41).
