Rochester’s Megan Goethals hasn’t skipped a beat since clinching the Division 1 girls cross country title in the fall. Goethals continued her domination of long-distance races Saturday by winning the 1,600-meter run in a time of 4:51.20 and the 3,200 meters in 10:37.50, a new Division 1 record.

In the 1,600, Goethals bettered Courtney Calka of Livonia Stevenson and Becca Addison of Grand Haven, who entered the day as the No. 1 seed with a time nearly three seconds better than Goethals.
