2009 Midwest Meet of Champions - Rosters

Looks like some solid rosters on both sides. I was hoping Jeff Burd of Maple Valley and Tony Rasch of Perry would make the team too. It looks like maybe they picked times from throughout the year. Should be a fun day full of studs on the track next weekend.

They do use season bests. They have a group who follows seniors all season to help them make the selections as I understand it. They do use the state meet as one factor, but not the only factor.

It is unfortunate that the Midwest Distance Gala is also the same date. Those conflict with each other.

I guess you could say the O-K Red was pretty tough in the girls' 800 this year......since all three members of Team Michigan are from that conference! Looks like a very strong team overall, but I'd say the Michigan boys are a little deeper than the girls. Hopefully both teams can win on the 13th.
