The inaugural MichianaTiming.com Scholarship Invite is off to a good start.

We have secured our title sponsor (to be announced soon) and are in the process of finding the Gold, Silver and Bronze sponsors required.

We anticipate giving four seniors who participate in the meet a $500 scholarship, based on the criteria specified, as well as name 12 additional finalists who will each receive a lesser amount as part of the honor of being named a finalist. The meet is open to almost all schools in Michigan, however you must have hit our qualifying standards.

Should we be blessed with too many talented athletes we reserve the right to seed and limit participation, however all finalists will be included in those competing and the scholarship in no way is based on their success in the meet or their athletic performances.

Awesome! This could become a spectacular event. I would love to participate, but we have the Saginaw Valley League meet the day before. Nice work though Don!!!!

Maybe a thrower or jumper. Keep it in mind. It is a busy time with graduations, league championships, etc. You can't miss everyone :-) But we hope to have a good competitive crowd and a festive atmosphere.
