Are these 1976 times from a 5K or 3 mile race? What year did the state switch over to the 5K distance?

1976 was three miles for cross country. 1980 was the first year for the 5000 meters.

You are correct -- I have a much better set of results than Bounce had -- as in clearer reproduction. I better go over these again :-)

Gerard's time was faster and I was able to more or less clarify all uncertain names.
