Livonia Franklin girls excel in track and field, too

Canton — It’s been quite a season for girls athletics at Livonia Franklin, and Senneca Scott has played a big part in it.

Scott, a junior, was a starter on the basketball team that reached the Class A final and on Friday Scott was again at the forefront in the Division 1 track and field regional.

Scott tied a personal best by placing first in the 100-meter hurdles with a time of 16.09 seconds. She also ran on the 3,200 relay team that qualified for the state meet by finishing second with a time of 9:49.73.

Franklin’s softball team is ranked No. 8 in Division 1.
