Linden’s Jake Hord third at Portage Invitational run

PORTAGE, Michigan — Jake Hord finished third in 15:50.9 to help Linden to a third-place team finish in the Division 2 meet at the Portage Invitational cross country meet Saturday.
The Eagles toaled 205 points to place behind Ionia (78) and Vicksburg (120). Alejandro Arroyo of Culver (Ind.) Academy won the race in 15:31.4.
David Madrigal won the Division 3 race by 19 seconds and Durand placed sixth as a team.
