Division 2 – At Coopersville, Sparta claimed the title while Fruitport finished in third and qualified three runners and a relay team for state. The Trojans heading to state are Mona Auervoulle (long jump), Haleigh Przybylek (800) and Jayna Stone (800) along with the 3,200 relay team of Przybylek, Stone, Cynthia Carmean and Rachael Folkmier. Fremont’s Anna English (300 hurdles) and Laura Anderson (800), Orchard View’s Tonesia Williams (100) and Spring Lake’s 800 relay team of Kathryn Rumptz, Ashleigh VanDeWag, Lisa Johnson and Rosie Seitz and 1,600 relay team of Johnson, Seitz, Danielle Kamps and Georgiana Klem advanced to the state finals.

Division 2 – At Cadillac, Chippewa Hills won the girls team title with 133 points and Ludington was seventh with 45. The Orioles’ Alexandra King won the high jump with a leap of 5-1. Chelsea Henderson qualified for the state finals in three events as she placed second in the 100 and shot put and qualified for the finals on time in the 200.

Division 3 – At Grand Rapids, West Catholic took top honors with 152 points. Kent City was third with 71, Shelby was fourth with 66 and Montague was fifth with 66. Placing first were Montague’s Katie LaRue (high jump) and Morgan Cullen (400), Shelby’s Rachel Hoffman (long jump, 100 hurdles and 300 hurdles), Oakridge’s Samantha Zimmer (800), Muskegon Heights’ Symphoney Cotton (200), Shelby’s 1,600 relay team and Kent City’s 400 and 800 relay teams. Also qualifying for the state finals were Cotton (100), Zimmer (1,600) LaRue (300 hurdles) and Kent City’s Suzy Stocking (200) and Sadie Ringer (3,200). Montague’s 800 and 3,200 relay teams also qualified for the state finals.
