Knights’ Kamyszek leads team to great week; Boys Cross Country

KNIGHTS’ KAMYSZEK LEADS TEAM TO GREAT WEEK: It was matter of Kenowa Hills senior Reed Kamyszek winning the race, but Grand Haven’s team having more runners in the top spots to win the boys side of the 15th Annual Don Anderson Invitational held at Grand Haven High School last Saturday.

Kamyszek, who won the Division 2 cross country state meet a year ago, set the Grand Haven course record as he recorded a time of 15:43.25 to beat Grand Haven junior Joe Duff by 52 seconds.

Kamyszek split 5:01 for the first mile and literally had the race won at the point as the separation between he and the rest of the pact was more than 20 seconds at the mile mark.
