Bucs’ cross country teams run to history

Rockford’s dominance on the O-K Red Conference cross country scene may be over, at least for this year.

The Buccaneers’ boys handed the Rams their first dual meet loss since 1996, and put Rockford’s streak of 15 consecutive league titles in jeopardy.

On the girls’ side, the No. 1-ranked Bucs dominated the No. 2-ranked Rams, giving Grand Haven a sweep over the state’s most successful cross country program for the first time in over two decades.
