Garber boys cross country takes sixth in Gladwin’s Cedar Bend Invitational

The Essexville Garber boys cross country team competed in the Cedar Bend Invitational hosted by Gladwin on Saturday. The Dukes finished sixth in the 12-team meet.

“We ran well, it was a fun meet,” Garber boys coch Jack Nesbitt said.

Ryan Roznowski was Garber’s top finisher, taking sixth place with a time of 18:46. His teammate Lawrence King-Miller finished eighth with a time of 19:01. Both Roznowski and King-Miller were medalists in the event.

The event was won by the team from Hudsonville Freedom Baptist.
