Foley sets new standard for East cross country | | the Observer & Eccentric Newspapers and Hometown Weeklies
The East girls cross country team finished seventh of nine teams at the South Lyon Invite on Saturday.

Sarah Sherman led the Cougars with a 36th-place finish in 23:13. Megan Hoorn was next in at 40th place (23:22), followed by Nicole Tedd (46th – 24:08), Sylvia Domanico (48th – 24:20) and Kayla Evans (51st – 24:38).

Ann Arbor Pioneer won with 31 points, followed by Northville with 78. South Lyon was sixth with 158, and South Lyon East was next with 221.

The East boys placed 10th of 11 teams at the South Lyon Invite.
