WEST BRANCH — Ogemaw Heights and Standish-Sterling went toe-to-toe again Friday at the Falcon Team Invitational, and once again the Panthers narrowly finished ahead of the Falcons.

Gaylord, however, trumped everyone, running up 534 points to second-place SSC’s 509. Ogemaw followed with 501, with Cadillac (442), Gladwin (343) and John Glenn (158) rounding out the large school field.

In team scoring the top finisher earns 30 points, with second place taking 29 and so on down through 30 places. Six other teams also participated in the small school division, with events run together but scored separately.
