Spartans 4-peat at City track meet
Scott Shaw was concerned about a post spring break hangover for his Livonia Stevenson boys track and field squad.
But on Thursday, the host Spartans appeared to be in mid-season form after capturing their fourth straight City championship with a team-high 97 points.
Churchill edged Franklin for second, 69-67, while Clarenceville placed fourth with 23.
Stevenson won three-of-four relay events and took eight individual events.
Sprinter Nick Anagnostou captured the 100- and 200-meter dashes in 11.06 and 22.8, respectively. He also teamed up with Austin White, Nate Sergison and Jacob Gudeman to win the 4 x 200 relay in 1:30.22.
