Entries are in! Thanks everyone for getting them in on time. If you need to make a substitution, please email it to don AT michigancrosscountry DOT com. See below for a list of who entered how many athletes in the regional meets.

PROM Registration will remain open until Thursday evening.

Course Previews:
The course closed in the late afternoon on Friday 10/29 for final course preparation. If possible review it prior, but some of you may be coming overnight. Please be off the course if possible by 5:00 for final course set-up. There is plenty of time Sat. for a preview as well for most of you. It will reopen at 7:30 on Saturday morning. If you wish to preview the course, simply be respectful of other people you encounter from all sports. It is already lined so you will have no trouble finding your way around the site. If we encounter significant rain next week we reserve the right to close the course to previews to maintain the quality of the course.

There is a slight adjustment to the course on the far southwest side involving two new buildings there, so have a look at this for the detail: Allendale Course map – 2010 Regional. The course is well lined the whole way.

Allendale High School Facilities: Please download the detailed facilities map.  Tent locations are the east half of the football field and the diamond to the east of the stadium.  Note that team entry to the stadium will be at the southwest corner of the stadium.  The west half of the stadium from the north fence to the south 30 yard line is restricted area and may not be crossed by fans or spectators. To get from east to west you must be outside the stadium to the north, or south of the 30 yard line.

Entry and Parking Fees:
We will be charging $5 per vehicle entering the site for parking. We will also be charging admission of $5 a person with a $10 admission cap per car to encourage car pooling to the meet. So a car with one spectator will pay $10 ($5 parking and $5 admission). A car with two spectators will pay $15 ($5 parking and $10 admission). A car with three or more spectators will still pay $15. Please communicate this to all parents and fans to avoid any confusion and to permit them to have funds available on entry. Cash only please.

9:30 a.m. — D2 boys Regional 11-2
10:00 — D4 boys Regional 33-4
10:30 — D2 girls Regional 11-2
11:15 — D4 girls Regional 33-4
Awards — immediately after conclusion of D4 girls’ race

12:30 p.m. — D1 boys Regional 2-1
1:00 — D3 boys Regional 21-3
1:30 — D1 girls Regional 2-1
2:15 — D3 girls Regional 21-3
Awards — immediately after conclusion of D3 girls’ race

All schools must pre-register by the MHSAA Registation Deadline!

Non-MHSAA Open Competition – Post Regional Open Meet (PROM):
Male Open 5K — 3:30
Female Open 5K — 4:10
PROM – Must pre-register, cost $5 per athlete with a gender cap of $30 per school per gender or $50 total if both genders run. Results will be provided. If there are less than 200 total participants we will combine the Female and Male races. This is intended for Junior Varsity Athletes and any others wishing to have an opportunity to run the regional course. It is open to the public at $5 participation fee subject to these team limits.
