Sports achievements: Ran two years of varsity cross country and will enter her fourth year of varsity track in the spring; Holds school track records in the 100 meters, 200 meters and 800-meter relay events and has qualified for the state meet in all three years thus far; Was all-state in the 200 dash courtesy of an eighth-place finish last year and third in the same event at the Saginaw County Invitational; First in the 200 dash, second in the 100 dash and fifth in the high jump at counties as a sophomore; Placed sixth in the 800 relay at the state finals as a freshman, good for all-state honors, and took first in the county for the 100 dash, the 200 dash and the 800 relay; Track team won a regional title during her freshman year.

Sports achievements: Ran four years of varsity cross country and will run his fourth year of varsity track in the spring; Team captain for both sports; Saginaw Valley League champion and team MVP in cross country; Won the Saginaw County Meet this year, finished third at regionals and was academic all-state three times in cross country; A three-time individual qualifier for the cross country state finals, as well as three-time all-region, three-time all-Valley and three-time all-county; One of 12 runners from the state of Michigan who qualified to compete in the Mideast National cross country meet; Finished seventh in the state in cross country as a sophomore, second as a junior and sixth as a senior; Helped Heritage win three straight regional, Valley and county titles

The Michigan Track & Field 2010 Yearbook is now ready for sale. It’s entirely retooled for this year, with expanded all-time lists, and for the first time ever, indoor and outdoor records/lists in the same volume. And amazingly, I’ve been able to slap the lowest price ever on it, $13–for over 250 pages of great stats.
