The Chippewas will look to run a variety of runners to get a better idea of a final roster for the Mid-American Conference meet.
“We will look to try to get some more athletes who did not run last weekend a chance to get another race in this weekend, “head coach Willie Randolph said.
With the MAC meet less than a month away CMU is looking to finalize rosters on both sides.
“This weekend will give us a chance to find who are our strongest runners are for both the men and women,” Randolph said. “We are becoming a very strong program and this is one more meet to strengthen our teams even more.”
The Michigan Intercollegiates is a prime race for many cross country programs, strong teams will be on tap for the race and create some very good competition.
“I expect to see a lot of good things this weekend,” Randolph said. “This should be a good weekend to get us ready for Pre-Nationals and the MAC.”
