Both Colon tack team took first place in the Dale Shook Invitational Saturday.
The boys’ team ended with 171.33 points followed by Homer in second with 150In third was Decatur 77.33, fourth was Waldron (72.33), St. Philip (36) in fifth and in sixth was Tekonsha with 14 points.
Aggies edge Jayhawks to place first
JACKSON, Mich. -
The Sand Creek High School boys track team edged Vandercook Lake in the final event to capture the title at the Vandercook Lake Jayhawks Relays on Saturday.
The Aggies finished a tenth of a second ahead of Vandercook Lake in the meet-ending 1,600 relay to total 118 points. Vandercook Lake had a score of 112, while Springport had 64 points to place third at the 16-team event.

At the Shumaker Relays at Detroit Renaissance, DeAngelo Glaze finished second in the shotput (47-9-3/4), Antwaun Gandy took third in the shot put (46-0), Antonio Combs was seventh in the long jump (19-8-3/4) and Mackford Hall finished fifth in the high jump (6-2) for Ferndale.
